  • It is an official document that grants a foreigner the right to legally stay in Poland. Simply put, it is a residence permit that allows crossing Polish borders without the need for additional visas and enables legal residence in the country.

  • To legally stay in Poland, you need to have an appropriate document, such as a visa, a temporary residence permit, or a permanent residence permit. Additionally, foreigners exempt from the visa requirement can stay in Poland under the visa-free regime.

  • Yes, it is possible if your purpose of staying in Poland is employment. To do so, you need to submit an application for a change of employer to the relevant voivodeship office. Additionally, you must prepare and submit a new set of documents related to your new workplace.

  • Visa-free stay in Poland is limited to a maximum of 90 days within every 180-day period. Border officers calculate your stay based on the last 180 days. You can use these 90 days consecutively or split them into several periods within the six-month timeframe.

  • The decision to issue a temporary residence card (based on employment) includes the employer's details, the type of work the foreigner will perform, the scope of duties, and the salary level. In case of changing the employer, new documents related to the new workplace must be submitted. After leaving the previous job, it is necessary to notify the Voivodeship Office within 15 days, and there is a 30-day period to find a new job.
